Consultation papers

The Royal Commission may use consultation papers to collect feedback on specific topics. This gives targeted stakeholders an opportunity to consider issues the Commissioners are looking into and contribute to the work of the Royal Commission. The ideas shared in consultation papers are not necessarily the views shared by the Commissioners, rather they are ideas the Royal Commission would like stakeholders to consider and provide feedback on.

Providing feedback on a consultation paper is voluntary.

Proposed new entity to support the wellbeing of Defence members and veterans – consultation has now closed

A consultation process to inform a proposed new entity to follow the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, to monitor the implementation of recommendations and contribute to the lifetime wellbeing of veterans, was held from 15 November 2023 to 5:00 pm AEDT 20 December 2023.

The consultation process is now closed and no further feedback can be accepted.
